Ruritan is a national organization dedicated to improving communities and building a better America through Fellowship, Goodwill and Community Service. Amelia County has a local Ruritan Club. Fund raising events include Brunswick Stew, Chicken BBQ and Fall Apple Sales. All the proceeds are invested into projects and donations that help our community in Amelia County.
